I would tell you a story today. This story is about victory of faith and reverence, this is the story about Gullika Ajji.do you know about him? No, then I am going tell you about this very person. Kids, there was a city named Belgola in the south about 1200 years ago. Today this is known by many other names like Shrawanbelgol, Bahubali, and Gomatteshwar etc. Perhaps you would have known about one of these name.57 foot long statue of Lord Bahubali situated on Mount Vindhyagiri in there. This was built by a warlord named Chamundaraya. Kids, at the time of first Holy-bathe of this statue, a very strange thing happened. Affusion of the statue was done by thousands of pots, but affusion was not coming below knee of the statue of Lord Bahubali. Then everyone worried about this happening. Nothing was coming in their mind. Then Acharya Nemichnd Siddhant Chakravarti said at that time that there is one of us in this ceremony who hadn’t completed affusion. He said that the affusion of statue cannot be completed without participation every present person. Then there was an old woman in the crowd, everyone’s eye was on her. She had not completed affusion because she was standing with milk in her small bowl made of coconut. kids, when she was brought to complete her affusion ,as she poured the milk on the statue the whole statue was moped up by milk and a pond was created by that stream of milk in the bottom of the hill. The utmost miracle was that the old woman disappeared just after completing the affusion. Everyone tried to find her but failed. Then that time Acharya Nemichandra Siddhant Chakrawarti said Cahmunadaraya and all other present people that the old woman was no one but yakshini Kushmandani Devi of Lord Neminath. She had come to preach that anyone either rich or poor can do affusion of this statue with their faith and belief. Money or material in important, the important thing is faith. Kids you know that Bhattarak Charu Kirti Swamiji of there had kept Gullika Ajji vase in Grand-Holy-Affusion to maintain traditions this time and before this time also.that old woman is now famous by name of Gullika Ajji. So you saw the effect of religion, kids. Now keep this story in your memory and tell your friends about this story. And yes, if you want to see statue of Gullika Ajji, then go to Shrawanbelgola for Grand-holy-Affusion and see the statue there. The statue of Gullika Ajji on the Mount vindhyagiri just in front of the statue of Lord Bahubali. Chamundaraya made this statue there. Now you have seen that how the faith won and you also should keep this in mind while worshipping the lord that faith and belief are the most important thing than material.so whenever you worship, do that with clean and devoted mind, with total faith and belief, never think about the worship material. And yes kids, I forgot to tell you an important thing regarding this story and that important thing is that a special ‘logo’ has been made for the promotion of Grand –holy-affusion which is happening this year .this story tells about that ‘logo’ also. Then ‘logo’ for this year’s grand-Holy-Affusion is also the symbol of faith. Then kids, this is enough for this time. We shall meet again with a new story next time.
